PulseBandz not only wants to help others with their health and lifestyles, but also on a global scale. PulseBandz donates 10% of their sales to organizations around the world with their global outreach program. Each organization was hand-picked by our team. There are 5 different colored bands and each represents an organization we donate to. We currently have one in 5 different contintents and are planning to add 2 more in the remaining 2, Asia and Australia. Learn more about each organization below and what makes them so special.
Malawi is one of the poorest and most densely populated countries in the world, with 95% of the population relying on wood or charcoal for cooking. RIPPLE Africa was founded by Geoff and Liz Furber in 2003 while traveling through Malawi. The couple began hiring Malawian staff to serve in a region that captured their hearts. They now have 3 aspects of their foundation and we’ve decided to team with them environmentally.
The Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC) is a non-profit organization that protects Antarctica’s wildlife, land, and oceans. ASOC works to protect a vasts amounts of artic wilderness as well as it’s Southern Ocean. ASOC seeks to preserve the Antarctic marine and terrestrial environments so the continent can remain pristine.
Samos Volunteers is an independent group of volunteers who initially came together in the autumn of 2015 in response to the refugee crisis. Your contribution will go towards people on the group in Samos as well as those working from their homes in other countries. They aid this region by delivering non-food items, assisting vulnerable new arrivals, and sustaining educational and recreational activities for all.
Exceptional Minds (EM) is a nonprofit vocational school and working studio that prepares young adults on the autism spectrum for careers in digital animation and visual effects. The first and only school of its kind, EM is a dynamic answer to the high unemployment and social isolation characteristic of today’s young adults with ASD as they age out of the public-school system. They provide customized instruction in visual effects and digital animation along with a work readiness curriculum to prepare this underserved population for lifelong careers.
Project Favela is an organization that has created an educational program to help educate children in Rio De Janiero, Brazil. Your contribution allows Project Favela to invest in hardware and software technology that supports tech-based curriculum where education is personalized and gamified. In addition, they will invest in local STEM university students to work full-time as a part of the project.
